Bakerman Bagz

“Bakerman Bagz” was raised in Jamaica, Queens with a rapping mother who spit freestyle rhymes and wrote lyrics for other people. As a child growing up in a full house, he jumped into the music industry while deep in the streets. Inspired by Jay Z, Biggie, 50 Cent, Eminem, and Nas, the music industry was appealing because he relished listening to new music and watching people’s reactions to new music. Always displaying resilience, Bakerman Bagz created his first track with a karaoke machine in his grandmother’s basement and continuously wrote and recorded lyrics, eventually launching a career in the music business. Years later, Bakerman Bagz moved to Virginia with his family. Using his New York hustle, he decided to take over Virginia with his musical talents. This ambition lead Bakerman Bagz to battling various, Virginia based artists for respect and recognition, becoming well known for his lyrical ability and consistency after putting out mixtape after mixtape. Bakerman Bagz has worked with Philly rapper, “Gillie Da Kid” and opened up for Shy Glizzy. Singles have gained traction on radio shows such as WPGC 95.5 and counting.
