Dylan Joseph was born and raised in Thousand Oaks, CA. Growing up he had a strong passion for being outdoors and loved baseball, motocross and music. He played Little League baseball from the time he was 8 years old until his first year of college. His dream from the beginning was to pursue a career in baseball and play in the MLB, but after sustaining two major injuries he decided to develop his other dream, being a musician/songwriter/country artist. Dylan picked up drums at the age of 14 and was a natural. Dylan said, “There was always a drum set in the house because my father was a professional drummer.” He taught himself to play guitar at the age of 18. Quickly learning to play all of his favorite country hits, he had a desire to create songs of his own. Throughout his early years of school, he excelled as a creative writer and those skills seamlessly carried over into his songwriting. Dylan had his first breakthrough in songwriting when he was asked to write a song for the YouTube hit show “Malibu Surf”. He co-wrote the song “Just Friends” which so far has achieved 6.7 million streams. He has written songs for different artists, in a broad array of genres, but his heart and passion is to write, perform and blend the country music he loves with the California lifestyle. 27007 is Dylan Joseph’s first release.
