Emerging artist Jessie G has just released the music video for her latest single, "Whatever This Is." After winning a Battle of the Bands contest to open Gretchen Wilson's Portland, OR, Jessie was invited onto Gretchen's tour bus where she was urged to move to Nashville, TN to become a part of Wilson's Redneck Records. Jessie then fully emerged herself into writing, teaming up with some of Nashville's best, and spent countless hours in the studio perfecting her sound. Her new single, "Whatever This Is" is a beautiful song co-written by Jessie, Gretchen, and Sarah Beth Terry about carefree, no pressure, fun, youthful love. The new music video premiered on CMT yesterday and perfectly captures the laid back message of the song. When interviewed by CMT for the premiere Jessie states, "The song is all about living in the moment and not taking things so seriously. It’s spot on!"
