Danielle Johnson

With vibrant blue skies and a landscape filled with pine trees, cotton fields, and endless tobacco roads, if there ever were a perfect environment to nurture an aspiring country singer, Warsaw, North Carolina would be the ideal place to grow up. Danielle Johnson is an 19 year old singer and songwriter with her sights set on the country music world delivering her music with a wide range of influences with pop appeal and rootsy authenticity. At a chance meeting in New York City, Danielle met Grammy winning producer, manager and record executive, Guy Eckstine, while Danielle was auditioning for a television commercial for Chris Rock. Having already acted on Broadway in “How The Grinch Stole Christmas,” Eckstine’s interest was piqued when Danielle explained that she also sang country music which was her real passion in life. Eckstine states, “When Danielle told me that she was an actress and that she also sang country music my A&R radar jumped off the scale and I was immediately interested in this beautiful, precocious talent.” From that point on with the blessing of Danielle’s parents together they embarked on an ambitious creative development program via Eckstine's, Iconique Music Group, maximizing her talents and introducing Danielle to the Nashville music scene. Creating quite a buzz in "Music City,” over the course of the past 4 years Danielle has been collaborating with Nashville hit-making songwriters, including among others, Dave Brainard, Phil Galdston, Jennifer Denmark, and Mike Dekle. During this time Danielle has also performed "The Star Spangled Banner" for many events including NASCAR races at the Charlotte Motor Speedway and the Coca Cola 600 in front of over 200,000 people. With a voice for the ages echoing her idols, Carrie Underwood, Taylor Swift and Shania Twain, Danielle has learned her lessons well on guitar, piano, and in the recording studio. Her work with Nashville’s finest tunesmiths has gone a long way in putting Danielle on the fast track to success while maintaining her message of faith, universal truths, and being a positive role model for teens and young adult
